2:45 PM – 3:30 PM     Longevity Revolution

We’ve just begun the longevity revolution that may be the next great disruptor. We’ve gone from a life expectancy of 47 in 1900 to 77 in 2000 to 83+ today. For those who take care of themselves, life expectancy now exceeds 95. We’re making progress on not just illness treating, but on life-extension, too, and it is expected that people will be able to live past 110 by the year 2030. Aging is now progressing to an unprecedented achievement: the extension of human life expectancy by thirty years.

Society has not yet adapted to this change. We must examine our personal and societal approach to aging so that the baby boomers and the generations that follow may have a financially secure, vigorous, and healthy final chapter life.
