Quarterly inserts to be included in top meetings industry publication
CHICAGO, IL, October 11, 2013 – Today the Professional Convention Management Association’s (PCMA) Convene Magazine has announced a collaboration with Site (formerly known as the Society of Incentive and Travel Executives), designed to bring research and educational content to incentive travel and event planners.
As part of the collaboration Site will be contributing Convene quarterly inserts, specifically for the incentive and business event planner, showcasing content from Site and the Site International Foundation, including research, best practices, case studies, and articles.
“I think we are at a critical time to be able to increase our influence as an industry, and really increase the impact that our association — and other associations in our space — can have on people that are in our industry,” said Kevin Hinton, Chief Staff Officer, Site.
The first collaborative issue features an overview of why incentive travel is a more effective motivator than cash rewards. Plus a letter from Paul Miller, Site's 2014 president, outlining Site's strategic plan and the value of incentive travel.
“Convene is recognized as the top meetings industry publication,” said Michelle Russell, Editor in Chief, Convene Magazine “having Site contribute to the magazine will only strengthen our two brands and benefit the readers.”
This agreement will begin with the October 2013 issue of Convene through the December 2014 issue. Inserts will be included in the 2013 October and December issues as well as the 2014 March June October and December issues.
