Good News for Fliers: Cancellation, Mishandled Baggage, and Bumping Rates Lowest In Decades

Last year was a good one for airline passengers — at least that’s what performance data from 12 large U.S. airlines indicate. Three annual records were set in 2016 for the lowest-ever rates of cancelled flights, baggage handling, and getting bumped, according to a new Department of Transportation report.
