Fort Worth is a meetings destination known for many things. As Texas’ first-ever “music-friendly” city, it’s full of unique music venues rich with history. It’s also home to a variety of unexpected dining options, including a diverse and quickly growing food-truck scene, and hosts several annual festivals that help showcase everything Fort Worth has to offer. Now, meeting planners can experience the city for themselves via Visit Fort Worth’s Golden Ticket contest.

Event organizers can enter to win one of three experiences — Music, Culinary, or Sports — each highlighting different aspects of Fort Worth’s meetings offerings. Each experience includes a three-night stay in a luxury hotel in downtown Fort Worth and round-trip domestic airfare for two people to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner at several of the city’s top restaurants, plus private car service, also will be provided for each tailored experience.

Home to a variety of venues that’ll get attendees on their feet, Fort Worth is a destination for music lovers. Visit Fort Worth’s Golden Ticket Music experience includes a VIP tour of Niles City Sound studio, where singer/songwriter Leon Bridges launched his career. While there, planners will get a private recording session/concert with a Fort Worth artist. Later, organizers will take in a concert and a VIP tour of Billy Bob’s Texas, the “World’s Largest Honky Tonk,” where they’ll also enjoy dinner. Afterwards, attendees will get VIP seats to Billy Bob’s Texas bull riding, where they’ll watch pro and semi-pro athletes.

A foodie’s dream, the Golden Ticket Culinary trip will feature a VIP tour of Mrs. Renfro’s salsa factory, where planners can create and produce 20 jars of custom salsa in the Mrs. Renfro’s test kitchen. Next, event organizers will get a chance to sample some of the craft spirits the region has to offer at Firestone & Robertson Distilling. They’ll get a behind-the-scenes tour and tasting with the head distiller. Finally, guests will get to try some authentic Western cuisine during a VIP dinner at Chef Tim Love’s Lonesome Dove Western Bistro.

Gearheads will love the third and final package, the Sports experience, which offers four suite tickets to the 2019 AAA Texas 500, an annual car race held at the Texas Motor Speedway, on Nov 3. Planners will get to feel what it’s like to be behind the wheel firsthand with pace car rides on the morning of race. They’ll also have access to the driver introductions area pre-race and the NASCAR Drivers Meeting. There will also be a guided pit and garage tour.

All of the unique venues, restaurants, and activities that meeting planners enjoy during the Golden Ticket experiences can be recreated for groups visiting Fort Worth. During their stay, organizers can enjoy a few carefree days in the city and experience firsthand what it’ll be like when their delegates touch down in the meetings destination. Planners interested must be available to travel Nov 1-4, 2019, and can enter to win at the Fort Worth website.
