Utilizing education and awareness to drive positive outcomes for others\, was key to connecting to empowerment. She tracked key revenue deliverables to empower her professional development in her career from part-time associate to Vice President of Diversity & Inclusion in 4 years. \nTo champion empowerment\, this session will focus on the 4 Empowerment Steps along with the Empowering Actions of Access\, Inclusion\, and Empower. These are the top actions for empowerment based on research at Empowering Differences. Ashley will interweave her journey into the 4 Empowerment Steps along with the recommended empowering actions\, while also providing the takeaways of the empowerment and differences leadership assessments for each attendee. Live digital 2-minute empowering differences assessment is completed through the link and QR code to our anonymous survey tool for all the attendees virtually. Assessment results are delivered during the session recap with recommendations for the team on their top 3 actions/differences for self-empowerment and the top 3 actions/differences for the empowerment of others based on the event attendee’s intersectionality. The assessment survey also provides analytics for accessibility\, communication\, equity\, mentoring\, and training. The combination of storytelling and the connection of empowering actions are aligned to create a memorable session and allow people to leverage their differences to impact change. \nSpeaker \n \nAshley T Brundage started her second career as a means of survival. Fighting discrimination\, harassment\, and homelessness she found employment as a part time associate then rose to national Vice President of Diversity & Inclusion in less than 5 years at PNC Bank. She captured this process of career development in her new award-winning book and online course called Empowering Differences. Personally\, she enjoys time with her 2 teenage boys who serve as the main source of motivation and empowerment for her. Recently in 2022\, she consulted for the White House and won an award from the Governor of Florida showcasing how empowerment applies to all people regardless of our differences.
