SUMMARY:GMID Virtual Event: Breathwork and Nervous System Regulation: A Path to Calm for Event Planners and Hospitality Professionals
DESCRIPTION:GMID Virtual Event: Breathwork & Nervous System Regulation: A Path to Calm for Event Planners & Hospitality Professionals \n  \nJoin us on April 3rd\, Global Meetings Industry Day (GMID)\, for a complimentary Virtual Wellness event:  Breathwork & Nervous System Regulation: A Path to Calm for Event Planners & Hospitality Professionals. \nWhen: Thursday\, April 3\, 2025 \nTime: 11:00am \nWhere: Online\, link will be sent to registrants \nCost:  Complimentary to all\, Happy GMID! \nEvent Description: \nAs event planners and hospitality professionals\, we are often tasked with creating seamless\, unforgettable experiences\, while navigating the stress and high demands of our roles. But what about our own well-being? The constant pressure of ensuring everything runs smoothly can leave us feeling overwhelmed\, anxious\, and burnt out—leaving little room to recharge. \nThat’s where somatic breathwork and nervous system regulation come in. Join us for a transformative session led by Sepideh Eivazi\, founder of Dawn of the Earth\, and a member of the Global Wellness Institute’s Breathe Initiative. Sepideh will guide you through the powerful practice of breathwork\, helping you shift from a sympathetic (fight-or-flight) state to a parasympathetic (rest-and-heal) state. \nIn this session\, you’ll learn how to release tension\, quiet your mind\, and ground yourself amidst the chaos of the event world. Through intentional breathing techniques\, we’ll work to release trapped emotions\, ease anxiety\, and promote a deep sense of calm and clarity.
