She studied in Tourism and Travel at La Cité collégiale and has a certificate in Event Management. \nEarly in her career\, she worked for Reservation Outaouais\, a local inbound travel agency managing the tour groups. She also worked at several hotels in the Gatineau-Ottawa region such as the Hilton Lac-Leamy\, the Fairmont Château Laurier and the Four Point by Sheraton as well as venues like the Ottawa Convention Centre (now known as the Shaw Centre)\, the Canadian Museum of History\, and the Canadian War Museum. \nTracy has always been very proud of the organizations she represented in the Gatineau-Ottawa region. SUMMARY:Speed Networking in Montreal: Be Unapologetically You/On gagne en étant soi-même sans complexe.
DESCRIPTION:  \n \nEnglish version to follow… \n  \n\nDate: Monday\, October 23rd\, 2023\, Montréal\, QC \nTime: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM EST \n11:00AM – 11:30AM – Registration \n11:30AM – 12:30PM – Speed Networking \n12:30PM – 1:00PM – Lunch \n1:00PM – 2:00PM – Education \n2:00PM – 3:00PM – Coffee & Dessert Reception with Networking & Prizes \n  \nPCMA Canada East Chapter is hosting a special Networking and Education event in downtown Montreal at Le Centre Sheraton Montréal Hôtel. \nThe event has been created with three different segments: an hour of networking at the beginning followed by an hour of education and finishing the day with another hour of networking. This will not be your typical networking event! The allotted networking time is for planners and suppliers to meet in a speed networking environment. \nEach Supplier registered will need to purchase a table to find new opportunities. We invite planners to join this special event on a complimentary basis\, making new connections\, and expanding their network by interacting with one another in a more intimate setting. \nSession Description: \n“You win by being unapologetically you.” \nThis motto is at the heart of Jake Karls’ bold business moves and unconventional career journey\, and sticking to it is his proudest achievement. Blocking out noise and naysayers\, Jake learned to get comfortable with the initial discomfort of simply being himself. Formerly insecure about pitching high-profile investors\, Jake cultivated the confidence to enjoy and gain strength from tough moments. His commitment to staying true to himself has allowed the brand to grow organically\, and the results have been pretty extraordinary. \nIn this impactful and inspiring keynote\, Jake urges you to trust your gut – the most powerful muscle you have – and find your superpower\, whatever it is. SUMMARY:SPARK 2023: Immersive Event Design – VANCOUVER
DESCRIPTION:Join us for SPARK 2023 – an unforgettable session with Anthony Vade\, Experience Strategy Director with Encore\, filled with inspiration\, innovation\, and immersive experiences! \nIn an increasingly distracted world\, event\, hospitality\, and tourism professionals are creating immersive experiences to earn attention\, inspire awe and deliver change-making experiences. Rightly so\, research shows that connecting with human emotions in memorable ways is a powerful tool to educate and create positive behaviour change for event owners and event participants. Applying a human-centric approach when designing immersive experiences can be challenging. No two humans experience or interact with the world in the same way. This creates complexity for event planners and their event stakeholders. Understanding event stakeholders and participants at a deep psychological level can be intimidating. However\, a basic knowledge of neurological triggers\, smart space and staging and technology applications\, combined with an engaged design team\, can empower the creative process. Helping event planners and event owners innovate and experiment with immersive experiences safely and with more confidence. \nIn this session\, we will explore the science\, design process and implementation of immersive experience design and dissect the forms and depths of engagement. We will learn to optimize the creative process from an event strategy perspective and explore some key performance indicators event teams should consider for immersive activations. \nThis session will provide real-world case studies from award-winning\, innovative\, and disruptive immersive experiences delivered by Encore and our customers. \nThis session might interest you if you: \n\nAre you looking to discover how to elevate the experiential moments at your events and destinations?\nAre curious to learn the basics of neuroscience and why immersive experiences are powerful.\nWant to explore how to communicate with leadership to get permission to try new and innovative ideas.\nWant to have a balance of theory\, experimentation\, and real-world examples?\n\nLearner Outcomes:\n1. Understand the emotional effect of Immersive Experience Design.\n2. Discover how the community benefits from the embedding possibility in venue spaces beyond transitional meetings.\n3. Discover a scalable real-world example of immersive storytelling suited to corporate and community events. \n \nKeynote Speaker: Anthony Vade\, CED\, BA\, altMBA\nExperience Strategy Director\, Encore \nBorn and raised in Australia\, Anthony now calls Toronto\, Canada home.
