Speaker: Bart Berkey
Bart grew up in Pittsburgh and has spent the past 30 years encouraging others to “do” when “Most People Don’t™”.
After graduating from Penn State University in the hospitality program and playing for their Division I Men’s Volleyball Team, Bart climbed the business ranks quickly. He spent 10 years with Hyatt Hotels, served as their youngest Regional Director, and earned “Sales Manager of the Year” before being recruited to join StarCite (a meetings technology startup) as their Vice President of Sales.
He then broadened his destination experience by serving as Regional Vice President for the Long Beach Convention and Visitors Bureau, before heading up the Washington, DC office for the St. Louis Convention and Visitors Commission.
The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company then benefitted from his talents as he served in several executive roles including their inaugural Sales & Marketing recruiter, selecting “the best of the best”, to then leading their Eastern Region’s Global Sales Team representing all 100 luxury Ritz-Carlton hotels. In addition to his speaking and writing career, he also currently maintains and excels at an expanded role leading a team selling 450 luxury properties across the globe for seven luxury hotel brands.
He published his first book on his mantra, “Most People Don’t, And Why You Should™” sharing real life stories designed to encourage others to act upon professional and personal improvement. It is currently listed in the top 1% of books sold on Amazon. Bart then founded “Most People Don’t” to expand his message and has established himself to be one of the premier keynote speakers and the only “Motivational Storyteller”.
He was recognized as one of the “Top 25 Most Extraordinary Minds in Sales & Marketing” and continues to energize and inspire tens of thousands through his leadership, writing, and speaking engagements.
