Vulnerability often has a negative connotation. No one wants to reveal the ooey gooey side of themselves—especially in the workplace. But vulnerability actually is a key ingredient to success at work. It promotes curiosity, creativity, innovation and authentic connections with others. This session will explore the different shapes vulnerability can take and will provide ways that employees and managers alike can create environments where people can bring their whole selves to work.

Kristen Przano is a Sr. Manager at Capital One, where she leads strategy planning & execution in the Garage, an innovation hub in the Financial Services Division. In this role, she leads branding and engagement efforts, strategic program management and organizational design initiatives. She leads the DFW Chapter of Capital One’s Women’s Network, as well as a workplace support group for new moms. Prior to her current role, Kristen spent a decade in event management within Capital One and across a number of other industries. Kristen holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Texas A&M University. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family, gardening and traveling to new places.
