Mercedes Hunt, PhD is the Founder/ Owner of Map & Compass Consulting LLC, and the Director of Undergraduate Business Programs at Granite State College. She specializes in sustainability and employee engagement and actively works to educate the industries and the next generation on best practices. She holds a doctorate in Parks, Recreation and Tourism with an emphasis in Sustainable Events, Venues and Tourism from the University of Utah. Previously, she worked in the Los Angeles event industry, as a college lecturer and as the Managing Director/ Events Director of The International Ecotourism Society.
