Michael Wigent is the current Americas Manager within Cisco Systems Global Protective Service (GPS) organization. He was formerly the GPS Asia Pacific, Japan and China Manager, based in Singapore. In his role, he is responsible for managing all aspects of Special Event and Travel Security and for conducting Executive Protection in support of the Cisco Executive Leadership Team. Michael has worked for Cisco since 2017 and previously managed physical security operations for Deutsche Bank in Asia from 2015-2017. Prior to joining the private sector, Michael was employed as a Supervisory Special Agent with the United States Naval Criminal Investigative Service for 13 years, serving in Singapore, Washington D.C. and Hawaii. Michael is originally from Detroit, Michigan, USA and is currently based in Dallas, TX.
