I have over 20 years of experience in the Meetings and Tradeshow Industry.  My background in the Meetings Industry is very diverse. I’ve worked for Exhibit Houses (Access TCA & Explus), Trade Show Management Company (E.J. Krause), Trade Show Online Community Technology (BDMetrics), the Audio Visual Leader (PSAV) and have run my own consulting business called Joseph Marketing Solutions. As CadmiumCD’s Director of Business Development, my main responsibility is to grow our company’s client base, channel partnerships and industry relations.

On a personal side, I’m a proud father of two children, Matt and Hannah.  I also have a huge passion for sports. I’m a basketball referee & softball umpire.  In addition, you’ll often find me playing softball and golf. I love to have fun, and my favorite color is blue to match my eyes.

Co-Founder of Resiada and Streampoint Solutions

Dharmesh Dayabhai is the Co-Founder of Resiada and Streampoint Solutions. Starting in the event industry in the late ’90s, he recognized the need to help streamline the registration process. With that in mind and 20 years later, he has created a solution that is versatile and adaptable to the most complex registration and ticketing requirements. Looking forward, the next step is to enable clients’ to be more empowered in the management of their hotel room blocks. With this notion, Resiada was born.

Dharmesh is a technology strategist who partners with event professionals, entrepreneurs, and tech companies to help grow their events, brands, and engagement. After working almost two decades in the event technology business, startups, marketing, branding, and understanding the eco-systems of form and function between humans and technology, Dharmesh knows what drives technology – and it’s not about the hot topic or fad of the week or month. It is all about understanding human connectivity and the entire ecosystem we call technology.

Speaker: Kirsten Olean, CAE
Director of Meetings, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

Kirsten Olean, CAE, is Director of Meetings at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, a position she assumed in August 2019. As director, Kirsten provides strategic leadership for the North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference and other meetings of the Foundation. She provides oversight and direction to a team that includes program management, logistics, exhibits, registration, and housing. She previously served as Director of Meetings at the American Society for Microbiology and the Association of American Medical Colleges.

Known as a visionary business event strategist and a change maker, Kirsten is the 2016 recipient of PCMA’s Meeting Professional of the Year Award. At ASM, she was responsible for merging the society’s two large annual meetings into one meeting, ASM Microbe, a journey documented by PCMA’s Convene magazine in a year-long series of articles.

Kirsten began her tenure on the PCMA Board of Directors in January 2015 and is currently serving as Chair.

Manager, Live Learning & Event Operations, Project Management Institute (PMI)

Julie joins us from the Project Management Institute (PMI) where she’s been with this association since 2016. Prior to that, Julie was with the Drug Information Association (DIA) for 16 years where she led the content and program experience for the flagship Global Annual Meeting. With 20+ years experience in planning in person events both internationally and domestically, she has now expanded her professional portfolio into producing virtual events. In 2020, PMI released its monthly Virtual Experience Series that brought together 50K attendees in 2020.

Tech Evangelist + Idea Igniteur + Netweaver

Dahlia has an OMG-attitude about all things eventtech and experience design. She’s her own brand, with more than a decade of experience in the meetings and events sector, working on both the professional planning side and as an association collaborator, Dahlia is known as the coffee-fuelled ‘go-to’ source for trend-setting solutions, eventtech news, and professional branding expertise.

She is an Evernote aficionado, speaks globally on meetings and events technology, new-and-upcoming technology solutions and platforms. and Her mission is to empower event professionals with practical intel on everything tech related and educate them on the emerging digital innovation opportunities to elevate their events and audience engagement.
