Panelist: Tracy Bury
Tracy Bury has over 25 years’ experience in the professional association sector. As Deputy Chief Executive at the World Confederation for Physical Therapy (WCPT) her responsibilities include the WCPT Congress, advocacy, policy, communities of practice and external relations. She has presented and published both nationally and internationally, as well as serving as a journal editor and contributing to research committees, awards panels and advisory boards.

Tracy is the President of the Associations & Conference Forum (AC Forum), which provides a platform for exchange of knowledge, expertise and experiences amongst association peers facing comparable challenges in the association and congress industry.

AC Forum serves 37 member organisations comprised of European and International associations (primarily from the healthcare sector) that are advancing association and congress management and delivering events ranging from 2,000-30,000 participants.

Panelist: Gerd De Bruycker
Gerd De Bruycker is a marketing director at Cisco Systems, responsible as the CMO for Northern Europe and leading the EMEA events team. He is specialised in how event marketing is integrated into the overall marketing mix as part of customer journeys and audience touchpoint strategies. He and his team are responsible for Cisco’s top events in the region, like Cisco Live, Cisco’s trade show participation, event strategy and country event enablement services. Before joining Cisco over eight years ago, he worked for almost a decade at Microsoft mainly in event marketing roles on a country, regional and worldwide level. He is also a guest lecturer at a high school in Belgium and speaker at conferences.

Panelist: Dale Parmenter
Dale has been in the presentation and communication industry for over 40 years. He left school with one goal to run his own business, after just 3 years the opportunity arose and Dale took it, operating at first from a small outbuilding at his parents home.
