PCMA Session #1: #IAmRemarkable Workshop

This #IAmRemarkable workshop powered by Google, strives to empower women and other underrepresented groups to speak openly about their accomplishments in the workplace and beyond. The initiative motivates participants to promote themselves in front of peers and management, thereby breaking gender-related modesty norms and glass ceilings. This session is designed to be an accessible and fun approach to build participant confidence by developing self-promotion strategies and skills. Participants will learning how to speak openly about their accomplishments helps others understand their strengths and skills.

Katarzyna Seidl, Partner Manager in Global Partnerships Team, Google
Katarzyna Seidl is a Strategic Partner Manager in Global Partnerships Team at Google responsible for developing and managing complex partnerships with key internet players in the DACH market. She has worked with Google in different markets helping transform international businesses into digitally profitable entities. Katarzyna contributes to the unique Google culture in many ways . She is a certified Intercultural Business Trainer and Moderator (IBT/M®). Apart from that she fosters an inclusive working culture as Diversity Ambassador and #IamRemarkable Lead for Germany.

Florian Ahle, Global Brand Evangelist, Auto Brand Marketing Expert
Florian Ahle has worked with Google in different roles with some of the worlds leading brands. In addition to digital transformation in marketing, Florian is also Innovation Partner Lead for innovation topics such as AR / VR and Voice Assistant. He also teaches as Brand Evangelist and Lead Facilitator for the Google Digital Academy in London and the #IamRemarkable initiative. Prior to joining Google, he held various senior management positions in BMW Group marketing.

Stuart Ruff-Lyon, Vice President Events and Education at Risk and Insurance Management Society
Stuart Ruff-Lyon, CMP, DES is the Vice President of Events and Education at RIMS – the risk management society, where he leads and directs the Society’s global event and education strategies. He also oversees all event sales initiatives for both attendee and exhibitor/sponsor acquisition. Stuart currently serves on PCMA’s Board of Directors and Executive Committee as the 2019 chair-elect, and also serves as an advisor to the cities of Denver and San Francisco. He is passionate about the events industry, and passionate about being a Business Events Strategist.

Nicola Testai, CEO of the OIC Group, Italy and CFO The Embassy
Nicola has been the CEO at OIC Group for over 6 years, he previously worked as Managing Director in an important textile company in Tuscany. His education and academic background have a strong focus on Economics and Business, Nicola has a degree in Economics from the University of Florence and an Advanced Marketing and Economics Course Certification from the University of Milan. As CEO of OIC Group, one of the first PCOs in Italy, Nicola is spearheading innovation and change within the company at all levels.

Martin N. Jensen, Co-President of IPCAA (International Pharmaceutical Congress Advisory Association)
Through more than 20 years, Martin has worked in the international hospitality industry covering hotels, meetings, events and congress. From a supplier in hotels and PCO, Martin has since 2007 worked for H. Lundbeck Pharmaceuticals as responsible for global meeting, event and congress activities within Global Marketing. Since 2017 Martin has been Head of Global Customer Engagement Operations at Lundbeck, responsible for delivering Multichannel strategy across markets. Martin holds a MSc in Int. Hospitality Management and a BA (Hons) in Hotel Management. IPCAA: Since 2007, Martin has represented H. Lundbeck on the council of IPCAA (International Pharmaceutical Congress Advisory Association) Between January 2011 and January 2013, Martin was Vice President and since 2013 to January 2019 served as Co-President of IPCAA with special focus on strategic alliances and partnerships. Following his co-presidency, Martin now acts as Past President with similar responsibilities.

Ori Lahav, Vice President Clients and Operations at Kenes Group
Ori began his career in the communications industry, where he held marketing positions at Internet, voice and mobile telecom providers. This was followed by a senior role in the automotive sector with a start-up that raised US$ 900M to manufacture electric cars. In the beginning of 2017, Ori also became an IAPCO Council Member. Ori holds a BA in Statistics from the University of Haifa and an MBA from the University of Derby, UK.

Panos Tzivanidis, Associate Director Hospitality, Events & Logistics, International Olympic Committee
Panos Tzivanidis is the Associate Director, Hospitality, Events and Logistics for IOC, the International Olympic Committee, responsible for the organisation of the Olympic Games. His team is responsible for all events organised by the IOC worldwide as well as all accommodation needs, travel, accreditation for the Olympic family for the games period, as well as the Olympic Club: the exclusive hospitality area for the Olympic family, head of states, their top VIP and dignitaries. He joined IOC in 2013 after two years as the Head of Travel & Conferences for UEFA, widely known for the organisation of the Champions League, Europa League and National teams EURO tournaments. Panos previously spent eleven years with SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication), organiser of Sibos. He was the Head of Events & Sibos dealing with all organisational aspects of the exhibition and the conference, across three continents.
