with Special Guest Speaker Casandra Matej, CEO, Visit Orlando
Join us as we come together to safely meet at the JW Marriott Bonnet Creek. This new venue is excited to host our first in person gathering in Central Florida since September 2019. We have the privilege of hearing from Casandra Matej, CEO of Visit Orlando; Adilson Barros, Director of Safety and Security at the JW Marriott; Kim Hutto, Sales Director at Encore; and Amy Barkley, Senior National Sales Manager for Shepard Exposition Services.
We are excited to be together to experience what meetings looks like in this new era of events. Come prepared to experience and learn as we discover together what the future of events looks like.

Session overview:
Let’s learn together about gathering safely! We will have three perspectives from a variety of presenters who represent Cities, Venues & Suppliers. From the presentation, we will gain a better understanding of current approaches from Visit Orlando, Hotel partners, and what options are available and are working for those groups engaging in hybrid models.
Lunch:
There will be a boxed lunch served following the program. Attendees may select what they are most comfortable with — you can take your boxed lunch to go, move to an outdoor location to enjoy your meal with another attendee, or enjoy your boxed lunch in the meeting room with social distance between attendees. The room set up will also allow flexibility for each attendees comfort level (individual seating options and table seating with social distance between attendees).

Behind the Scenes of Implementing Onsite Health & Safety Precautions
Presenter: Adilson Barros, JW Bonnet Creek’s Director of Safety and Security
In this session, JW Bonnet Creek’s Director of Safety and Security will outline what goes into their implementation of health and safety precautions when a group comes inhouse. These processes are backed by Marriott’s long history of creating solutions for evolving business and consumer needs, most recently with their Commitment to Clean and Connect with Confidence initiatives. Discussion will also include next steps for meeting planners in assessing the potential need of implementing new optional health protocol options from emerging third party testing technologies.
How to Hybrid and Case Studies
Presenters: Kim Hutto, Sales Director, Encore; Amy Barkley, Senior National Sales Manager, Shepard Exposition Services
This two-part presentation will begin by focusing on the six key drivers with example scenarios that every meeting professional needs to know about planning, producing and executing a successful hybrid event. The second part will provide an in-depth look at case studies of groups that have hosted a Hybrid event (or will be). Highlights will include program overviews, feedback on successes and lessons learned.
