GMID Goes Virtual
April 14 @ 9:00 am– 9:30 am UTC-8
Join #EventProfs from around the world on April 14, 2020 to virtually celebrate #GMID20 and break the Guinness World Record for most participants at a virtual event.
Global Meetings Industry Day (GMID) was created to be an international forum for advocacy, awareness and celebration for the events industry, and why events mean business.
In 2020, GMID will look very different and we need your help in taking it virtual!
This year, the impacts of the Covid-19 virus have been felt around the world. No event has been left untouched, we are all reeling from the effects that this global pandemic has had on our industry and communities. Based on advice from the World Health Organization (WHO) and government around the world, we are not encouraging live events for GMID. But we will still meet and come together – and we’re going to break the world record doing it!
You’re invited to be part of this grassroots attempt at breaking the Guinness World Record for the largest virtual event.
This interactive session is designed to provide attendees with a forum to have their voices heard while contributing to valuable industry research, all while connecting with each other.
Join us for an uplifting celebration of the positivity, resiliency, and tenacity of the people who make up our amazing industry.
