The POWER Chapter is sensitive to our members’ individual situations, and we are offering the option to “pay what you choose” for this program. When registering, you may select from payment options of $10, $20, $30, or no payment.
A portion of all registration fees will be designated for a Digital Event Strategist scholarship. Few industries were as disrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic as the meetings, events, and hospitality sector. Everyone involved in our industry was either laid off or furloughed or knows someone who was. The POWER chapter is asking you to help us in aiding in the recovery of our industry. Going forward, some of our events will be free to members with the option to donate on a “pay what you choose” model. A portion of all registrations will go towards funding a Digital Events Strategist (DES) scholarship for one of our members. Details on how to apply for this scholarship will be coming later this year. Until then please help us help one of our own.
About the DES program: The Digital Event Strategist certification (DES) is designed to help individuals and organizations develop, plan, produce, and measure the results of their digital engagement practices. Over the course of 6 weeks, the program features 6 classroom hours, and learners invest an average of 7 additional hours in self-paced studying and interacting with experts. The price for this course is typically $745 for members.
