Awards Committee

The Awards Committee is responsible for the selection process of the Richard A. "Dick" Daignault, Robert J. "Bob" Donovan, Pillar and GEM awards. The Committee will review all criteria, conduct yearly update of all nomination forms and letters yearly. They will process all biographical information and acknowledge all nominees, and select the winners for all awards, with the approval of the Board as required. The Committee is charged with the continual maintainence of the Wall of Fame displayed on the lower level at the PCMA Headquarters Office at McCormick Place.

The committee is also responsible for the selection of the Annual Meeting Scholarship, which is given to an active Professional member yearly. The committee will also prepare all awards for the exiting Board of Directors and Committee Chairs for presentation at this year's GMC PCMA Annual Awards Luncheon and recommending new awards appropriate for the Chapter.

Goals:

• Create timelines (nominations, awareness, etc.)
• Continue the "Five Questions" profiles for the Pulse (add current winners and update past files)
• Create nominee congratulatory letter and bio questionnaire form
• Develop Annual Awards Luncheon to include program outline and theme (work in conjunction with the Program Committee)
• Design new awareness campaign for quarterly meetings (flyers, mailings, web site, etc.)
