Chapter Relations Committee

Chapter Relations Committee Mission, Goals and Objectives
The Chapter Relations Committee's mission is to bring the benefits of PCMA and GMC PCMA membership to those members residing and working outside of the greater Chicago area.
The Committee's goals are to provide educational and networking opportunities to GMC PCMA members outside of the greater Chicago area. An additional goal is to provide a method for members outside of the Chicago area to connect with other members and make them feel a part of the Chapter and receive Chapter beneifts.
The objectives of the Committee are as follows:
- Hold one educational program/networking opportunity in each of four states (IN, MI, MN, WI) in 2007;
- Hold one informal discussion group meeting in each of the four states (IN, MI, MN, WI) in 2007;
- Provide a "state liaison" for each of the four states (IN, MI, MN, WI) that will communicate with members in those states on regular basis and will serve as a resource for members in those states with questions or concerns about PCMA, GMC or the industry in general;
- Research the ability to develop a "listserv" to aid in communication between members in their state; as well as with those in the other states outside of the greater Chicago area; and
- Retain and increase PCMA and GMC membership in outlying areas.
Committee Roster
State liaisons for IN, MI, MN and WI are noted on the attached roster (click here), as are all committee members and contact information for all. Please feel free to contact your state liaison or any committee member if you have questions about your PCMA or GMC membership, or regarding any industry issues.
Join the Committee
The Chapter Relations Committee is made up primarily of members from outside the greater Chicago area. We welcome any GMC member that is interested in successfully achieving the goals and objectives of the committee and assisting with bringing GMC PCMA benefits to members in outlying states. While the committee does hold meetings in conjunction with GMC Quarterly Edcuational Programs, we also provide a conference call option for these meetings, so that if you can not physically attend, you can still participate in the committee from remote locations. If you are interested in getting more involved with your GMC chapter, please click on the link below and complete the Committee Volunteer form. A committee member will be in touch with you soon after to welcome you and give further details on the committee.
