Chapter Leadership Council

Two representatives from the Greater Midwest Chapter are selected by the Chapter President or President-Elect to serve two-year terms on PCMA HQ's Chapter Leadership Council. This Committee provides a forum for chapters to discuss and disseminate information between themselves, to the PCMA Board of Directors and all other committees, task forces and/or working groups relative to chapter-related concerns and/or areas of operation. As such, the representatives from the Greater Midwest Chapter provide both a voice at the HQ level for the concerns of our chapter to be heard as well as an opportunity to learn from the experience of other chapters.

In addition, the overall committee has responsibility for generating new ideas for:

  • Educational Programming delivered via PCMA
  • Chapters Chapter specific activities presented at the Annual Meeting

The committee also assists in the coordination of both the Chapter Leadership Day at the Annual Meeting and the Chapter Leadership Retreat by generating innovative exercises, speaker ideas and formats and by evaluating the success of these programs.

Further, the committee brainstorms fresh ideas and strategies for quality products and services to ensure:

  • The ability of chapters to serve local needs
  • A multitude of delivery options are explored, suggested and implemented
  • Peer to peer exchange, mentoring and networking are facilitated

The Greater Midwest Chapter's representatives in 2007 are Lora Tannehill, CMP, American Society of Neuroradiology and Krista Knudsen, CASE with Renaissance Chicago Hotel.
