A Message from our President:
Greetings to our PCMA Canada East Chapter members!

Following the tremendous success of 2007 when Canada East hosted the 51st PCMA Annual Meeting, we have set out several important goals:
1.  Continue building a first class education program. We know how important this is. Count on it to be even more intense in 2008!
2. Follow up on all the energy and resources employed for the 2007 AGM. We must be sure to market on this success and make the most of the gains made.
3. Further showcase the level of professionalism of both suppliers and planners in Eastern Canada. This is a large, dynamic region with endless potential. From our core base in Toronto, we reach out to expand our network with valued members in Ottawa and Montreal.

The incredible response to the "Green Your Meeting" conference in Ottawa in late November shows just how important this subject is, and the follow-up that is required. Sandra Wood put together a first-class panel that took us to a new level of awareness. Green meetings are not a fad but rather a serious issue that affects us all.

Do you have any suggestions or questions? Would you like to get involved? Feel free to call me at (514) 287-9898 x 223 or email me at jp@jpdl.com
