Welcome Message
On behalf of the New York Chapter of PCMA, we welcome you to our new web site!! Our members are the most involved in the industry, and thanks to our dedicated volunteers, we offer cutting-edge programs, community service projects, professional recognition and many other opportunities for our members.

Mission Statement:
The mission of the Professional Convention Management Association shall be to deliver breakthrough education and promote the value of professional convention management.
A Message From the President:
My goal as NYPCMA President in 2008 is to continue the hard work and dedication set by the past Board and Committee members. The current Board and Committee members are very excited about the new year and look forward to serving the Chapter.
During 2008, we will be offering quality programming such as Green Meetings, Career Management, Disaster Planning and Hotel Contracts. Also during the year, the Network for the Needy will be planning a few community events and I hope the membership will participate.
We could not manage our Chapter without our volunteers and I appreciate all their hard work. To quote President John Kennedy, 'And so, my fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country'. I feel we could apply Kennedy's words to PCMA and ask not what your Chapter can do for you, but what you can do for your Chapter. We need your help to volunteer on a committee in order to keep our Chapter strong. If you have a talent or interest, please feel free to contact me or a committee chair.
