2016 Convening Leaders Call for Proposals

Exciting news! The deadline to submit submissions has been extended.  PCMA is accepting submissions through March 6 for Convening Leaders 2016 in Vancouver, January 10-13.

We are seeking proposals that:

  • Demonstrate fresh, thought-provoking, innovative ideas that senior-level meeting professionals can apply at their organizations
  • Examine industry-wide and segment-specific challenges and deliver solutions that transform how meeting professionals do business
  • Offer engagement and provide tangible takeaways to maximize the adult learning experience

We encourage subject matter that aligns with these major topic areas:

Event Technology and Intelligence—learn about the latest tech trends affecting our event space; understand the importance of collecting and analyzing data from events to create more meaningful experiences, grow attendance and increase revenue

Operational Strategy— build upon your existing knowledge and gain smart practices to effectively plan resources; develop strong strategies for a smooth running event and incorporate different approaches that can help transform how you do business

Meeting and Experience Design—apply the latest design-thinking to enhance your events; explore innovative formats and experiences for your attendees and gain insight into design trends from experts inside and outside the events industry

Globalization—understand business events among nations; hear world view perspectives; examine the global economic landscape and how it impacts potential growth opportunities for your organization

Leadership Lessons—addresses career development topics from strengthening your communication skills and relationship building as a leader to managing teams through a constantly changing global economy.

Idea vs Proposal

A Session Proposal requires you to be responsible for content and delivery, start to finish. If you have the beginning of an idea that you think would make a great session, submit your Great Idea and we may bring it to life.
