CHICAGO, IL January 13, 2014 – The Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) and the Dallas Convention and Visitors Bureau (Dallas CVB) have partnered together in a forward-thinking initiative supported by the PCMA Education Foundation to inspire new, innovative ideas in the meetings and conventions and tourism industry. The year-long uber-strategic partnership kicks off with the BIG IDEAS initiative at Convening Leaders on January 12-15, 2014 in Boston at the Hynes Convention Center.
As part of the BIG IDEAS initiative, PCMA Convening Leaders attendees from various sectors and cities across the world will discover and share BIG IDEAS, and learn about the innovations and challenges transforming the industry by experts. At the conference, the Big IDEA Zone will provide an on-site gathering place for attendees to share BIG IDEAS through real-time video, whiteboard brainstorming and social media channels, while collaboratively working with peers and thought leaders. Meeting industry professionals and followers are encouraged to share BIG IDEAS through Facebook, Twitter and Instagram using #BigIdeasCL.
