Deadline for nominations extended to May 1
CHICAGO, Illinois, April 26, 2012 - For the first time ever, Convene -- the award-winning magazine of the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) -- will share its picks for the "Best of the Industry," and everyone in the meetings industry can get involved by submitting their favorite destinations, venues, and tools for consideration by May 1.
Convene's editorial staff will only consider those nominated by the industry and will select a top five in each of 10 categories. Those winners will be featured in the magazine's inaugural August issue.
"The 'Best of the Industry' article will recognize and highlight what our industry has to offer and serve as a resource for meeting professionals as they plan their events throughout the coming year," said Convene Editor in Chief Michelle Russell. "By combining reader input with the unbiased research of our staff, this will be a 'must-read' feature of our first-ever August issue."
Nominations can be made at http://svy.mk/Iq1dYS. The deadline to nominate has been extended to May 1.
