Marc Anderson

Choose Chicago President & CEO, David Whitaker, announced that Marc Anderson, most recently Chief Sales Officer of Choose Chicago, was promoted to Executive Vice President of Choose Chicago. In accepting this expanded role, Anderson will continue his oversight and direction of Choose Chicago’s convention sales team.

Deirdre Yack

Deirdre Yack started her career at Le Parker Meridien where she spent six years developing feeder markets for the AAA Four Diamond property. During this time, Yack also committed three years to the United States Air Force Reserves, undergoing basic training and devoting weekends to the military.

Jenai Sele

Hewing Hotel, set to open late Fall 2016, announces the appointment of Jenai Sele as Director of Sales for the Minneapolis boutique and lifestyle hotel. In this position, Sele leads the sales efforts for the hotel located in the historic North Loop Jackson building.

Joseph Giannelli

SourceOne Events is excited to announce Joseph Giannelli has joined their team as Sr. Account Executive. Previously holding positions at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel, Navy Pier, McCormick Place and as an operations consultant, Joe brings with him 24 years of valuable and essential experience in the events industry.

Frost Williams

Hilton Anaheim announced the appointment of Frost Williams as Senior Sales Manager responsible for the Midwest market. Frost will report to Chris Anderson, Director of Sales. Frost joins the Hilton Anaheim team after spending four years as Convention Sales Development Manager at Visit Milwaukee.

Bryan Gay

Grand Sierra Resort and Casino (GSR) in Reno, Nev. recently welcomed seasoned sales and meetings professional Bryan Gay as vice president of sales, conventions and meetings. GSR is the largest resort and gaming destination in the Pacific Northwest with 2,000 rooms and 200,000 square feet of meeting and convention space.

Chris Curtis

InterContinental Abu Dhabi has announced the appointment of new executive chef Chris Curtis to oversee day to day operations and cuisine for seven award-winning restaurants at the hotel, as well as banquet events and outside catering services undertaken by the property.
