Wendy Holliday

Wendy Holliday will oversee all operations and activities of PLM World as their Executive Director. Holliday will bring a long-term strategic growth and member engagement approach and will focus on organizational leadership, board and volunteer engagement, supplier management, membership engagement, and public relations.

Alex Shelton

Alex Shelton has joined Albuquerque Convention & Visitors Bureau (ACVB) as vice president of convention sales, services and sports. In his new role, Shelton guides the destination team to turn meeting, convention and sporting event leads into business for the New Mexico destination. Shelton serves as National Chairman of the Industry Issues Committees for Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) and International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE).

Jonathan Crellin

Boston Park Plaza announces the appointment of hospitality veteran Jonathan Crellin to the position of managing director. In this role, Crellin will draw on nearly 30 years of experience in the luxury hotel industry and assume leadership of the historic property known as “Boston’s Most Beloved Hotel.”

Mark Everton

Mark Everton has been appointed CEO of Visit Oakland (California). He most recently served as general manager of Waterfront Hotel in Oakland’s Jack London Square.

DHISCO Inc., the world's leading hospitality distribution company, has hired travel industry veteran Lori King as vice president of its Global Implementation and Interface Services division, CEO Toni Portmann announced today.

Nicholas A. Rana

Nicholas A. Rana, director of sales and marketing, started his career in the sales discipline at the Copenhagen Marriott Hotel in 2003. Marriott Hotel Downtown Abu Dhabi will be Rana’s fifth hotel opening with Marriott across five different countries and three distinct Marriott brands.

Vivian Chambers

L.E. Hotels introduced Vivian Chambers as East Coast director of sales. She brings more than 15 years of experience in sales and business development within the luxury hospitality industry to her position. Before joining L.E. Hotels, Chambers worked for Waldorf Astoria Resorts, Global Hospitality Services and Leading Hotels of the World, a hospitality consortium.

Rebecca Miller

Rebecca Miller has joined The ProvidenceG in Providence, Rhode Island, as director of sales and events. Miller has more than 10 years of experience managing weddings, corporate events, large banquet services and intimate social gatherings. She joins the boutique development after serving as general manager and director of catering for The Regatta Place and corporate events manager at OceanCliff Hotel.

Alberico Nunziata

The Beverly Hilton is pleased to announce the appointment of Chef Alberico Nunziata as executive chef. Nunziata will be responsible for overseeing the menus and staff of CIRCA 55, in addition to banquet operations, in-room dining and menus for the hotel’s high-profile events and galas, including the Golden Globe Awards Show, Oscar Nominee Luncheon, Pre-Grammy Gala and the Milken Institute’s Global Conference.
