Network For The Needy®
Emerson Family YMCA Donation Drive
Brought to you by Founding and Principal Sponsor of the Network for the Needy® program, Global Experience Specialists (GES)
The Emerson Family YMCA is located in North County and strategically located to serve the youth and families of the Hazelwood and Ferguson-Florissant school districts. The branch has an established Teen Leader program and three Youth in Government programs, as well as providing school age child care in twenty-six North County schools, literacy and tutoring programs, as well as programs that serve families when school is out of session during the school year and the summer break.
The camp program is designed to give all children and families who need the service access to the comprehensive program. The weekly program offers over 150 youth daily opportunities for recreation, swimming, arts (both performance and traditional), character values education, healthy living instruction, and family events. The camp is also unique in that with the resources of the association, they provide inclusion services to those children with medical, physical, emotional, and psychological special needs at no additional cost to the family.
Donation Needs: Arts and crafts items (pens, pencils, markers, crayons, glue, feathers, craft sticks), tooth brushes, tooth paste, socks, books, swim goggles.
The donation bin will be located by registration at the Hilton.
