  1. Feeling Welcome in Vancouver. The city did an amazing job of making Convening Leaders attendees feel welcome.
  2. Arne Sorenson, CEO of Marriott International & Mel Robbins, CNN Correspondent Standing room only for this opening general session – what a way to kick off the year with insights to the future of the hospitality industry.
  3. Daily Orientations. New in 2016, Daily orientations were held to give newcomers and veterans a rundown of what was in store that day and what to look out for.
  4. PCMA Engagement Center. Housing the PCMA and PCMA Education Foundation teams, it was a true hub for people throughout the meeting. A demo of our new product, Business Events Series (BES) happening in this photo.
  5. 20 in their Twenties Class of 2016. A glimpse into the future of our industry… Congratulations to an outstanding class of 20 in their Twenties.
  6. TechCentral/Learning Lounge. TechCentral and the Learning Lounge were packed every day! People were able to learn and share tips on things ranging from LinkedIn profiles to meeting and personal wellness
  7. MashUp Studio. For those who couldn’t make it to Vancouver, there was an online LIVE stream, reaching around the world! To make them feel like they were part of the on-site action, this MashUp Studio was created for Live interviews with speakers from the event, as well as overall event commentary.
  8. Vancouver House Party. Vancouver closed out their reception in style – transforming the VCC East into a backyard house party, creating countless places for interaction and a different experience than your typical reception.
  9. Feeling Inspired by Amy Purdy. A wonderful closing session with Amy Purdy telling her amazing story and how to face and overcome challenges in pursuit of our personal and business dreams.
  10. Thank You Vancouver! We already miss the mountains! Having a backdrop like this one, it’s hard to not feel inspired.
