It is Our Time to Serve! A Recap of Our Community Service Outreach

On Wednesday, October 14, 2015, The Southeast Chapter of PCMA provided and served lunch to the women and children who are at the Atlanta Day Shelter for Women and Children.

A Big Thank you to the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp. for sponsoring this event!



During our November 4th Annual Meeting and Luncheon, we were honored to have Jennifer Hutchinson, Day Services Leader for the Atlanta Mission in attendance to accept our annual $500 donation.  Once again, the SE Chapter of PCMA came through with lots of gifts for the Shelter’s annual Christmas Drive!  A special thanks to everyone who donated!



Started in 1986, the Atlanta Day Shelter for Women and Children has a mission of trying to ease the burden of homelessness for women and children and to assist in establishing self-sufficiency by providing comprehensive education and supportive services in a manner that respects human dignity.  They provide two meals a day to all guests, provide food pantry kits to guests, and supply vital hygiene and childcare supplies. In addition, job counselors assist guests with resumes and interview preparation, as well as distribute MARTA passes for safe travel to and from interviews.


Please remember to bring all of your un-opened hotel amenities (like soap & shampoo) to our next SE PCMA chapter meeting, or call Bernie Wilke at 404-867-3137 and he will be happy to collect your donations.
