Hope you are liking the new format and design of the Chapter’s newsletter. And, if you have any ideas for articles for next year’s quarterly newsletter please share them with Cheri Jones, Brad Plumb or Eric Jacobson. Perhaps you know a Chapter member who should be profiled in the newsletter. Or, has your city introduced something super cool you want to brag about? Might you have some tips and ideas you would like to share with your fellow Chapter members? We’re looking for ideas for articles!
Also, before the end of today, if you haven’t already Liked our Chapter’s Facebook page and become a follower of the Chapter on Twitter, please do so. We post at least weekly on both social media channels. Our goal is to have 75 people following the Chapter on Facebook and 50 on Twitter by the end of the year.

For new members, we have exceeded our 2015 goal and as of November are at 119%. We needed 36 new members for the year, and we’re already at 43.
For member renewal call tracking, we are using a new online tool from headquarters for logging these calls. It has streamlined the process greatly, and made it more efficient.

Thank you for your generous donations of coffee cards for the KC Vet Center collected during the November 5 event. What a great response!
The KC Vet Center is there for all veterans and their families and does an amazing job of counseling and supporting them. Below is a note that we received showing their appreciation. Our committee wanted to share it with the chapter.
I wish to express our deepest gratitude to the Heartland Chapter of PCMA for their heartfelt contribution and remembering our work at the KC Vet Center. We at the KC Vet Center are Readjustment Counselors for our Combat Veterans and their family members. The generous donation from your chapter joins with us in directly helping and remembering those who were called upon to give all a person can give. Thank you for recognizing and remembering them as champions for their devotion and gallantry for our Nation.
We at the KC Vet Center provide a lifetime of benefits for their mental health and emotional needs, and those of their families. The Heartland Chapter of PCMA and all its members are now active members of our KC Vet Center team and all we do and represent.
Happy Thanksgiving From All Of Us!
