GMC PCMA Community Services Committee (CSC) Breaks Records

Keri Kelly, CSC Chair and Jacqueline Ouellette, CSC Co-Chair Bowl-A-Thon
On behalf of the Community Services Committee, we thank GMC PCMA members for your generous contributions, participation and/or volunteering efforts for the 2015 Bowl-a-Thon, Silent Auction and all the other fun community service events and activities (Service in Sync, Little Brothers) throughout the year. 2015 was an extraordinary year for growth in our fundraising, technology advancement and event experiences.

We are thrilled to inform you of the results: 2015 was record-breaking for donations and proceeds! Here is a snapshot of our collaborative success for 2015 compared to 2014:

  2015 2014
Collections from Silent Auction, Wine Pull + Raffle $35,620 $26,025
Collections from Raffle Sales $1,690 $780

As you can see, there was a significant jump! We could not have done this without your generosity of spirit, so we would like to share this success with you. Each and every donation has made a significant impact and difference for the members of our charity and chapter.

All proceeds will to go to our 2015 charity partner, Little Brothers - Friends of the Elderly, in addition to other efforts including the GMC PCMA student scholarship program and the PCMA Education Foundation.

Lastly, we thank you for your feedback in the survey and certainly will consider all aspects when planning 2016 to ensure an even better 2016 Bowl-a-Thon. We look forward to continuing our journey.

Warmest of wishes and best of holidays this season!
