Omni Hotels & Resorts promoted Ryan O’Byrne to corporate director, global sales. Most recently, O’Byrne was global director, sales at Omni.

Erin Williams

Embassy Suites by Hilton Colorado Springs named Erin Williams director of sales. Most recently, Williams was director of sales at Ameristar Casino Resort Spa in Black Hawk, Colorado.

Tina Fullard

Kimpton Cardinal Hotel in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, named Tina Fullard director of sales and marketing. The hotel is set to open in early 2016.

Richard Harper

The Meetings Mean Business Coalition (MMB), a cross-industry communications and advocacy initiative, appointed Richard Harper, executive vice president at HelmsBriscoe, as the coalition co-chair effective January 2016. Harper will work with fellow co-chair Michael Dominguez, senior vice president and chief sales officer at MGM Resorts International, to lead the organization as it showcases the substantial value of meetings, conferences, conventions, incentive travel, trade shows and exhibitions.

Paul Ouimet

Destination Marketing Association International has named Paul Ouimet managing director of DestinationNEXT, DMAI's scientific roadmap to help destination marketing organizations navigate the future.

Robert Mesirow

Robert Mesirow, vice president of business operations for CTIA – The Wireless Association, will be stepping down, after 17 years at the association.

Tom Mullen

The Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau announced Tom Mullen has joined the organization in the newly created position of senior vice president and chief operating officer. He began work on Sept. 1, replacing Wayne Arita, HVCB’s chief financial officer, who retired in September. In his new role, Mullen will be responsible for finance and corporate services, contract compliance, business development and travel industry partnerships. Most recently, Mullen held the position of chief administrative officer with the Los Angeles Tourism and Convention Board.

Jennifer Cunningham

Jennifer Cunningham has been appointed interim managing director of the Reno-Sparks (Nevada) Convention & Visitors Authority following the recent departure of former president and CEO Christopher Baum.

Carol Wallace

Carol Wallace has announced that she will retire as president and CEO of the San Diego Convention Center Corporation, effective December 31, 2016. Wallace will step down from the position on December 31, 2015, but will serve as a consultant to the corporation until the end of 2016.

Pamela Feick

Hôtel Plaza Athénée New York announced the appointment of Pamela Feick as Director of Sales and Marketing. Feick will be responsible for spearheading the relaunch of the hotel as it embarks upon a renovation scheduled for completion in October 2016.

Beth Nicholson

Access TCA announced that Beth Nicholson has joined the company as Director, Meetings and Events. Nicholson has worked across industries - healthcare, financial services, and technology creating proprietary events, strategic partnerships, and content directed at attendee acquisition.

Grace Barraza

Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort has hired a new national sales manager, Grace Barraza, a hospitality industry executive with more than two decades of experience – Barraza has spent 15 years with Hilton Worldwide and joins the Hawaii flagship team after working at the Hilton Anaheim.
