Michael Choiniere

The Carillon Miami Beach has appointed Michael Choiniere as its new director of sales and marketing. Choiniere joined Carillon Miami Beach most recently from the Shelborne Wyndham Grand in South Beach, where he held the role of Director of Sales and Marketing and successfully rebranded the iconic art deco hotel.

Nienke Van der Malen-Van der Horst

The Supervisory Board at The Hague Marketing appointed Nienke Van der Malen-Van der Horst as new director of The Hague Convention Bureau after she emerged from an open application procedure as the most suitable candidate. In a way she is returning to the city, as she attended the Hotel School The Hague.

Kristen Jarnagin

Kristen Jarnagin, acting head of Arizona's statewide hotel trade group, will become the new head of the Long Island Convention and Visitors Bureau.

David Chavern

Newspaper Association of America today announced that its board of directors has selected David Chavern, a seasoned public policy and advocacy leader, as its new president and CEO, effective October 14, 2015. Chavern succeeds Caroline H. Little, who led the association for four years and announced her retirement earlier in 2015.

Kelly Cavers

Kelly Cavers has been appointed Sr. VP, Group Sales for Discover The Palm Beaches. Cavers currently serves as Vice President, Intermediary Sales for Choose Chicago, where she has worked for three years. She’ll start her new job on Oct. 15.

Heather Staverman

The Equipment Leasing and Finance Association announces that Heather Staverman, CMP, has joined the organization as Director of Meetings and Exhibits, effective Sept. 10. In this position, Staverman will plan, manage, implement and promote several business development conferences, exhibitions and awards programs.

Dwayne Williams

Magnolia Hotel Denver has announced that Dwayne Williams has been hired as the property’s new director of business development. Williams has nearly two decades of hospitality experience with upscale hotel brands such as Ritz-Carlton, Park Hyatt and Inspirato.

Steve French

The Washington Marriott Wardman Park named Steve French the new Director of Group Sales. French will be responsible for the strategic leadership of group sales for the 1,152 room hotel.
