The Community Service Committee, with approval of the Board of Directors, has selected One Warm Coat via the Susie E. Crowder Owens Empowerment Center as the 10/22 Help Your Attendees' Health THRIVE at Your Next Meeting event's charity.
Please bring a clean and gently used coat or jacket of any size to the October 22 Capital Chapter "Help Your Attendees' Health THRIVE at Your Next Meeting" Educational Program at the Kaiser Permanente Center for Total Health.
Since 1992 One Warm Coat’s mission is to provide food and clothing to those who are in need, especially seniors, people with disabilities, and single parents with dependent children. Since then, One Warm Coat has grown into a national organization, with a center in DC, that has supported over 3,000 coat drives a year.
One Warm Coat’s vision is that it will become a part of the American lifestyle. When a coat is no longer needed, people will think of One Warm Coat and donate it; in turn donors will be warmed by the knowledge that their coats will go directly to children, women and men in need.
Thank you in advance for your generous donation!
