Reboot Your Education at CCR2015 on July 30

PCMA Capital Chapter

Join us at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center on Thursday, July 30, 2015, for an afternoon of education and an evening of fun! 

Michael Robinson, adjunct professor at Stevenson University & George Mason University, will present the general session, Protecting Your Events and Attendees From Really Bad Things - Addressing Cyber, Cellular and Wireless Concerns. This session will bring practical concerns and solutions center stage on how to:

·         make your event more secure to reduce the risk and likelihood of hackers and cyber thieves from targeting your attendees and event

·         secure cellular and wireless connectivity

·         know what questions to ask of your infrastructure provider

·         address concerns with hotel space, mobile apps, kiosks, and registration pages before they become issues


Two concurrent breakout sessions will follow Robinson’s presentation.  Attendees may select one of three unique programs to attend during each session. 

Session 1:

·         Leadership: Use Your Gut: Effective Decision-Making in an Over-Thinking World

·         Through The Looking Glass: Reverse Perspectives on Exhibiting

·         Social Marketing Grows Up: Tools, Tips and Tricks for Building Your Brand

Session 2:

·         Using Data to Drive Event Evolution - Yes We Can!

·         Make it Work!

·         Fitting a Fitness/Wellness Theater into Trade Shows
