Members of the Heartland delegation gathered for lively drinks and discussion at the Nanking restaurant at the Hilton in Fort Lauderdale during EduCon 2015.

The group discussed that for EduCon 2016 – which will be held in St. Louis – the Chapter should encourage high turnout from our six-state region. In addition, the Heartland Chapter could create or host an event for the conference to raise its own visibility. Let’s get our thinking caps out!

Emerging Leader Valerie Villa was welcomed by members of the delegation during the meet up. She was a highlight in Monday’s opening session at the conference and is profiled in this issue of the Q2 Chapter newsletter.
