Arkansas – The Natural State
Bentonville – The Bentonville Community Center has just opened and offers over 84,000 square feet for all residents to enjoy. With a cardio room that has over 40 pieces of equipment to the new TecnoGym for strength training you will be sure to find something you can enjoy and work those muscles. There will be over 60 classes provided weekly. There is also an Aquatic Center that includes eight lap swim lanes and three diving boards for competitive teams along with a family leisure pool. Little Rock - In May 2015 Southern Business & Development Magazine just named Little Rock a “Top Ten Southern Downtown!" And, in June the Homewood Suites by Hilton opened in the Downtown River Market Entertainment District of Little Rock. The new project adds 116 beautiful all-suite rooms to the city’s downtown core supporting the convention center. Additionally, billions of dollars are being spent on further development. Labeled the “Creative Corridor”… the current Main Street modernization will also include an aloft Hotel adding another 140 rooms only steps from the Statehouse Convention Center and River Market.

Sioux City - is very proud to welcome back for the 10th time RAGBRAI, the longest, largest and oldest touring bicycle ride in the world. RAGBRAI is so popular that can exceed 20,000 riders in a stretch and draws thousand from all 50 states and all over the world for seven days of cycling. The tour will overnight on July 18 leave Sioux City on the morning of July 19.
Another great summer event Saturday in the Park celebrating the 25th anniversary has a line-up of world class artists, the festival raps up with fireworks finale!
Waterloo - Come Travel Waterloo With Us!
There’s a lot to “dig” about Waterloo and the Waterloo Convention & Visitors Bureau wants to show you in an exciting new travel series. “Travel Waterloo” is an online travel show that invites and inspires visitors to experience all that Waterloo has to offer. Throughout the series, viewers will visit Waterloo’s many well-known attractions, events, restaurants, and accommodations, along with some of our locals’ favorite hot spots. Kansas City - Jackie Payne joined the convention sales team on June 15 as a national accounts manager. She previously worked with VisitNorfolk, where she handled the Midwest association and corporate market for six years. A UMKC grad, her experience also includes previous positions with the San Diego County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the National Council of La Raza.
Also joining our sales team is Kyle Sadewhite. A previous winner of DMAI’s 30 Under 30 Award, Kyle will serve as an account executive to small meetings utilizing 200 rooms or less. A graduate of Kansas State University, he comes to us from the City of Independence Tourism Department, where he served as a senior sales manager for the sports and group markets.
Katy Hagmeier has been promoted to a National Sales Manager, she was previously our small meetings account executive.
Oklahoma – The Sooner State
Oklahoma City Experience all that Oklahoma City offers this summer including music, art shows, horse shows and more! Music stars such as Rascal Flatts, Sammy Hagar and many more took the stage at OKC’s biggest music festival, OKC Fest, June 26 & 27.
