The Communications Committee has been busy creating the new Facebook page for the Chapter and the new Twitter account for the Chapter. You can read more about both and the Chapter’s new social media strategy in this newsletter.

Also, we’re looking for Chapter members who would like to join our committee. If you love to write and would like to write one or more articles (typically 300 to 500 words per article) this year, we’re eager to chat with you. Please send indication of our interest to ejacobson@ascendintegratedmedia.com.

PCMA Heartland Chapter & KCSAE are joining forces to bring you a nationally recognized speaker! You'll want to join us for "OnBoarding: Do You Have Them at Hello?” on Thursday, April 2, 2015.

Registration begins at 11 a.m. and the Luncheon and Program will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. It all takes place at the Marriott Country Club Plaza, 4445 Main Street, Kansas City, MO.

The Program

Two-thirds of attendees at annual meetings are now first-timers which means you have to be constantly educating and facilitating networking for the newcomers. This presents a big opportunity if you can convert them into regulars with a great attendee on-boarding process that engages them at Hello!
