Lily Chen has been appointed director of sales and marketing at The Sheraton Zhuhai Hotel in China. Most recently, Chen was director of sales and marketing for The Hongta Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Shanghai.
Elizabeth Dexter has been appointed director of sales for Santa Barbara Beach & Golf Resort in Curacao. Dexter most recently was regional sales director for the Radisson Blu Resort in St. Martin.
At Hyatt Chuck Floyd has been selected as Global President of Operations, effective August 1, 2014. In this newly created role, Floyd will continue to lead and develop the Company’s Global Operations Center (GOC), Hyatt’s shared operation services organization, and will assume responsibility for the operation of Hyatt’s hotels globally. The Group Presidents for each of Hyatt’s three regions will report to Floyd.

The San Antonio Convention & Visitors Bureau is excited to announce its new director of sales, Tyler Orwig, and senior sales manager, Sandy Gaudet. 15-year hotel industry leader, Tyler Orwig was most recently director of sales for Hyatt Regency Crystal City and Hyatt Regency Coral Gables. Sandy Gaudet will be based in Washington D.C. dedicated to the National Association market. She was previously a senior sales manager for the 1,900-room San Francisco Hilton. Prior to that she was a national accounts representative for Gaylord Hotels.
Margaret Victor is the new sales manager for the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center of New York. Before joining the Jacob K. Javits team, she served as director of national accounts at Hawks Cay Resort since 2013 as well as director of national accounts RockResorts/Vail Resorts Hospitality since 2008.
