You may have heard that Amazon is aiming to deliver products to your door with drone delivery technology. Well, those unmanned aerial vehicles are about to transform the way you approach planning your meeting, too. Earlier this month, Freeman unveiled its updated PLANTOUR tool, which uses drone technology to capture high-definition, 360-degree views of venues around the country. Rather than static images of venue space, planners can use these interactive tours to help potential sponsors see exactly how their brands will be displayed on-site.
“By improving key features and functionality within PLANTOUR, we make it easier for meeting planners and show organizers to plan their events and to maximize sponsorship revenue, while providing exhibitors with an easy way to view and purchase those sponsorship opportunities,” William Collins, Vice President, Product Development, Freeman, said in a statement.
SEE IT IN ACTION: Take A Tour With Freeman’s PLANTOUR
It’s no secret that sponsors want to understand the real value of their investment before they commit their money, and this tool helps demonstrate the actual ROI. Instead of simply saying that their messaging will be “front and center for thousands of attendees,” PLANTOUR can translate words into an enhanced preview of more than 50 of the top convention centers and hotels around North America.
While all venues do not have full real-life video tours yet, the PLANTOUR site delivers essential information for each of them. The site breaks down sections of show floors, ballrooms and levels into available sponsorship opportunities with helpful data such as banner size and estimated labor installation and dismantling costs.
The virtual tours are free. Click here to sign up for a complimentary PLANTOUR account.
