Lorenz Hassenstein

SMG, the West Conshohocken facilities manager that will take over management of the Pennsylvania Convention Center on Dec. 1, and has tapped Lorenz Hassenstein, a former vice president at Advertising Specialties Institute Inc. in Trevose, to run center operations.

Neo Ping Peng

Neo Ping Peng has been appointed director of sales at Swissôtel Merchant Court in Singapore. Peng previously was director of sales at the Mövenpick Sentosa, Singapore.

Karin Timpone

Karin Timpone has been named global marketing officer for Marriott International. Timpone most recently was senior vice president, product strategy and marketing, for Disney ABC Digital Media. 

Tara Wolff

Shepard Exposition Services has announced that Tara Wolff joined the Las Vegas branch as its newest National Sales Manager.

Staci Currie

Staci Currie has joined Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI) as Director of Sales for the U.S. South region. In her new position Currie is responsible for assisting meeting professionals, association executives, convention specialists, and business executives.

Anthony Hyde

The Barbican’s general manager Anthony Hyde has quit his job “to pursue other projects within the meetings and events sector.” Hyde, who has worked at the London venue for 13 years, will leave his position in February next year.
