Amy Patterson

Amy Patterson will join Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau (ACVB) as vice president, business development and corporate events. In her new role, Patterson will oversee corporate development, direct ACVB’s membership department and produce ACVB’s corporate events, including the annual meeting and Atlanta Hospitality Hall of Fame.

Tom Puntel

Park Hyatt Beaver Creek in Beaver Creek, Colorado, has named Tom Puntel director of sales and marketing. Puntel most recently was director of sales and marketing at Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center.

Tony Dunn

The Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel announced that Tony Dunn has been appointed as its new General Manager. Dunn brings over 24 years of hotelier and hospitality experience to the position at Colorado’s largest hotel with 1,231 guest rooms and over 131,000 square feet of meeting space.

Peter Nichols

Peter Nichols, a seasoned professional in the hospitality industry, has been named Vice President of Development for Waterford Hotel Group. Nichols brings to the company nearly 30 years of hospitality experience and an impressive track record in hotel acquisitions and development. As Vice President of Development, Nichols will direct all development efforts for Waterford Hotel Group, including third-party management and investment opportunities.

Donna Kimura and Teresa Cosgrove

In Hawaii, the Big Island Visitors Bureau has appointed Donna Kimura as marketing director and Teresa Cosgrove as sales manager. Both will be based out of BIVB’s West Hawaii office. In her position as marketing director, Kimura will be responsible for development, budgeting and implementation of the BIVB’s annual marketing plan for all major market areas for promotion of Hawaii Island as both a leisure travel and meeting/convention destination.
