The Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau has hired Kimberly Corbets as convention sales manager. She will handle corporate, association trade and incentive business for the southeastern United States. She most recently was sales manager at the Hilton Miami Airport and has also worked for Hilton Worldwide properties in the Chicago area.
Timothy Kline has been named group sales manager for the Fairmont Washington D.C., a 415-room luxury property. Previously, Kline was group sales manager for the Washington Court hotel in D.C. and was a Mid-Atlantic sales manager for Marriott International.
Dianna Balabon is now the vice president of sales and marketing for the Rosewood luxury hotel group. She joins Rosewood from Andre Balazs Properties. She's also worked for Trump Hotels and the Dorchester Collection.

Senior AEG Ogden executive, Geoff Donaghy, has become the first Asia Pacific region
representative to be elected to lead the peak association for convention centres worldwide. Mr Donaghy was elected President of the International Association of Congress Centres (AIPC) at its annual meeting in Cape Town, South Africa.
Ovation Group Ireland founders Padraic Gilligan and Patrick Delaney have announced they will leave Ovation Global DMC at the end of the year.
Following the announcement, Aoife Delaney will be promoted to global sales director of Ovation Global DMC, while Karine Buggy as global operations director for Ovation Global DMC will join the MCI global operations leadership team.
