Ray Kopcinski

Ray Kopcinski has been promoted to Senior Director at Million Dollar Round Table. He will be working directly with CEO, Steve Stahr, and our Executive Committee on several major organizational initiatives as well as redrafting our strategic plan and restructuring our staff organization.

Craig Moyes

Craig Moyes has accepted the position of Portfolio Director for Reed Travel Exhibitions' new Leisure Travel Portfolio. The Leisure portfolio will consist of World Travel Market (WTM), World Travel Market Latin America (WTMLA), World Travel Market Africa (WTMA), International French Travel Market (IFTM) and Arabian Travel Market (ATM), along with some new projects that are under development.  It will be the largest of the portfolios in Reed Travel Exhibitions' division, with a mixture of strong established mature events and new start-ups.

Vickie Singer

Destination Marketing Association International has named Vickie Singer as its senior vice president of marketing and communications. She replaces Kristen Clemens, who left the association to pursue another position. 

Leslie Johnson

Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, has named Leslie Johnson director of sales and marketing. Johnson most recently served as general manager of Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark. 

Tamara Kennedy-Hill

Tamara Kennedy-Hill, the executive director of the Green Meetings Industry Council for the past five years, is leaving the organization to become community relations director at Travel Portland, the Portland, Ore., convention and visitors bureau. She will be replaced on an interim basis by Mariela McIlwraith, who also serves as executive director of the GMIC Sustainable Meetings Foundation and president of Vancouver-based consultancy, Meeting Change. McIlwraith is also serving as executive editor of the Convention Industry Council Manual, 9th edition. The GMIC board will conduct a search for a permanent replacement over the next few months.

Dr. Christian Göke

Dr. Christian Göke is due to take over as the new chief executive officer of Messe Berlin. At its regular meeting on 5 December 2012 the supervisory board appointed Dr. Goeke, who holds a doctorate in law, as the new chief executive officer from 1 July 2013. He takes over from Raimund Hosch, who is retiring.

Liana Mulleitner

Longtime Hawaii hotel executive Liana Mulleitner has joined Halekulani Corp. as director of marketing, Chief Operating Officer Peter Shaindlin announced Tuesday.
Mulleitner will be responsible for all of Halekulani Corp.’s marketing programs and initiatives as well as its public relations and communications.

Steve Cahoon
