The Detroit Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau (DMCVB) has named Keith Kirsten as its new Director of Sales. Kirsten joins the DMCVB from the Rio Mar Beach Resort sales office in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

Robert Harter and Jeffrey Livingston

L'Auberge Del Mar in Del Mar, California, has promoted Robert Harter to director of sales and marketing and Jeffrey Livingston to director of sales.

Brandon Hendricks

Denver’s Sage Hospitality has named Brandon Hendricks area director of sales and marketing overseeing Denver’s Oxford Hotel and the new Union Station hotel scheduled to open in July 2014. Hendricks previously was area director of sales and marketing overseeing The Westin Westminster, Hotel Ivy in Minneapolis and Il Lugano in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

Trisha Edmonds

Trisha Edmonds has been named director of sales for Destination Irvine after 10 years in the hospitality industry, most recently as director of sales at the Wyndham Irvine–Orange County Airport hotel. Her duties will include promoting Irvine as a destination to meeting planners and travel buyers. 

Deirdre Yack

Deirdre Yack has been named director of sales and marketing for the Lexington New York City. Yack most recently was director of sales and marketing for Hyatt 48 Lex.

Greg Velasquez

Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills has named Greg Velasquez as its new director of marketing. In addition to marketing efforts, he will oversee the sales, revenue management, catering and reservations departments.

Robin A. McClain

Destination DC president and CEO, Elliott L. Ferguson, has appointed Robin A. McClain as the new Vice President of Marketing and Communications for the official tourism and marketing office for the nation’s capital.  A seasoned travel marketing professional, McClain has led the marketing team over the last six months as the Interim Vice President of Marketing and Communications. In May 2011, McClain joined Destination DC as the Director of Communications, after moving from Los Angeles where she worked for LA INC.
