Association Forum of Chicagoland recently named Phillip Ridley as a Workforce Diversity Scholar for 2013-2015. Phil is the Meetings and Special Services Manager at the American Society of Anesthesiologists.
The Association Workforce Diversity Scholarship has now expanded into a two-year program designed to provide support and leadership education to a diverse group of association professionals. Scholars receive complimentary membership and access to Association Forum’s educational programs and events, specialized education programs tailored to building leadership characteristics and achieving long-term career goals, and an association executive mentor.
"It means so much to me to know that I have the continued support from so many colleagues and organizations in the association and hospitality industry that care about me and the success of my future," Phil said. "But it also means I get two years of complimentary education benefits, which helps me personally and are a bonus to ASA."
