Employees at the Hilton, Delta and PUR hotels in Quebec City have been on strike since 7 a.m. Sunday morning.
They are using a part of the 48 hours of strike they are entitled to in order to speed up bargaining processes with their employers.
The federal union federation said a mass strike could take place on Sept. 9 if an agreement is not reached between the two parties. Though spokespeople for the union federation say the employers "must change their attitude." More
