Formed in 1985 as a supporting entity to the Professional Convention Management Association, the PCMA Education Foundation was incorporated for the sole purpose of supporting the educational programs and research activities of PCMA.

Today, the PCMA Education Foundation has narrowed its focus to fundraising and grant-giving to research, products and services designed to advance the meetings and convention industry. Through various fundraising initiatives and grant-giving processes, including scholarships, the PCMA Education Foundation reaches into the meetings and conventions community at numerous levels to give back to its members and the industry. These important initiatives and processes cannot be maintained without the support of you – our members.
