PCMA and its Mexico-based partners are gearing up for the 2016 North American Advisory Summit (NAAS) which will take place August 3-4 at the Azul Ixtapa Resort and Convention Center (Ixtapa, Mexico). Each year, NAAS brings together meetings industry leaders with some of Mexico’s premier suppliers for lively conversation and education. This year, the event will happen earlier than usual as the program co-locates for the first time with the Mexico Tourism Board’s National Congress, whose program focus will be on technology and science. Mexico’s Minister of Tourism and other dignitaries will address the 600-plus-attendees of the Congress and PCMA will bring its signature education, offering sessions on Mexico and the global economy, event technology, and destination marketing. “The leadership of PCMA’s Mexico chapter help us shape the education program, and it promises to be stellar,” said Sherrif Karamat, CAE, PCMA’s COO.
